Please read this document before booking a job.

Logging In

The login page requires a username which is usually an email address or your firstname.companyname and a password, given to you after your account has been opened. To validate your credentials, fill in the two fields and press the Sign in button. The site will then validate the credentials and if all is well, you should be directed to the default page. Otherwise an error message will be displayed.

Site Navigation

One main menu, featured at the top section of the site is used, to simplify the processes for the user throughout the web site. Text with links are underlined and highlighted in orange.

Operating Hours

Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5.30pm

After Hours

by prior arrangements and on a drivers volunteer basis.

Dates

The following formats are used when entering dates into search fields; dd/mm/yyyy or dd.mm.yyyy, either format is accepted.

Services

Waiting Times

Standard loading and unloading times are already included in our quoted price. The allowed times depending on the size of the load. Excess times such as hand load/unload, waiting for staff or fork lift or waiting in a queue will be charged at an hourly rate in 6 minutes intervals. The hourly rate depends on the required vehicle size.

Address Book

Both, the pickup and delivery details use the same Address Book

To add an address on the fly during a booking, you can tick the check box save address as frequent address in the pickup and/or delivery section, after filling in the address.

To add, modify, delete an address, you can also navigate to the My Account page and select Edit Address Book. You can then either enter a new address and then select Add Entry, or select one of the already existing entries, which you can either modify and then select Update, or delete by selecting Delete.

Suburb

As you start typing a suburb name, a dropdown list will appear, showing all suburb with their postcodes, which match the already typed suburb name. Because the same suburb may exist in different states, you must select the one with the correct post code.

CREATING A BOOKING

Please note: Missing or wrong information can lead to unnecessary job delays, wrong charges or wrong vehicles being dispatched for your job.

Start by selecting Create New Booking from the navigation menu. On this page you will have to enter:

Account holders information

The system will automatically identify the account holder and name of the person who made the booking, based on the username used for the login. This will allow us to direct any job queries we may have, to contact the correct person.

Date

If a job is pre-booked for a future date, you must change the date.

Time

Is automatically set to the time the booking process has been started.

If the job is not ready for pickup yet, you must change the time to the earliest possible pickup time. (Our "Service Times" will start from that time).

Customer Reference

will show on your invoice for reconciliation purposes.

Pickup Information

Enter pickup details including any special instruction or select from a frequent address of the Address Book, by entering the pickup company name.

Delivery Information

You must enter at least the receiver’s suburb.

Enter delivery details including any special instructions or select from a frequent address of the Address Book, by entering the receivers company name.

As you start typing a company name, a dropdown list will appear, showing all address book entries, which match the already typed company name. Because the same company record may exist with different addresses, you must select the one with the correct address.

Don’t forget, a newly entered address can be saved as frequent address in the Address Book by ticking the corresponding check box on the form.

Number of items

is required for pricing and allocation purposes and also as a cross check, that the driver is picking up all items of the job.

Volume

Is automatically calculated, based on the dimensions and quantity. You can override the Item Volume and the Total Volume, if required.

You can calculate the volume by using the dimensions of the largest item and multiply it with the quantity or calculate the volume of each item and add them together.

Dimensions

Width, Length, Height are entered in m and are required for pricing and allocation purposes.

Please note:

If top loading is not allowed, it is important that you reserve the airspace above your item, by entering a minimum height of at least 1.5m. The price will be automatically adjusted. Our system will check the integrity of the entered data, where ever possible, and will return a price of Zero if information is missing or invalid. (That includes weight and dimension limits, pickup/delivery destination, just to name a few.

Weight must be entered correctly in kg, to avoid vehicle overloading. You will be held liable for any consequences of wrongly supplied information. The Total Weight is automatically calculated, based on the Item Weight and Quantity. Please check the total weight. You can override the Total Weight if required.

Item Description

will help in the identification and allocation of your job to a suitable vehicle.

Hazardous Goods

It is your responsibility to declare any hazardous good by ticking the tick box and selecting the appropriate category, to ensure that incompatible classes of hazardous products are not carried on the same vehicle and the allocated driver has the appropriate Dangerous Goods License and signage, if required.

The weight of the dangerous goods portion, the UN and packaging group must be entered in the Item Description above.

SERVICE

Select the required service from the available services.

After the service has been selected and all other required information have been entered, the estimated cost will be shown at the bottom right corner and two buttons Quote and Book Job will become available.

All services prices, except for the Overnight Services, are based on the total consignment details, like total weight, total volume, maximum length/width/ height.

SYDNEY METRO

Overnight

These service prices are charged per item and therefore based on the item details like item weight, item volume, item length, item width, item height. The booking must be received one working day prior to the required delivery day before 5pm and must be ready for pickup latest by 8am, for delivery any time before 5pm on the same day. If an earlier delivery time is specified in the booking, will still endeavour to deliver the job on that day if possible, however the deliver may be delayed at our discretion by one day.

Standard

Vip

Pickup or delivery windows of 60 minutes or less, also equire a Vip service.

Bookings after 2pm for same day delivery also require a Vip service.

Direct

Pickup or delivery windows of 15 minutes or less, also require a Direct service.

Bookings after 4pm for same day delivery also require a Direct service.

Please note:

These services may require a minimum chargeable height for items heavier than 25kg.

0.6m for items the size of a printer skid (0.6m x 0.45m) or greater

0.8m for items the size of a European skid (1.2m x 0.8m) or greater

1m for items the size of a Chep pallet (1.15m x 1.15m) or greater

INTERSTATE

These jobs may be pickup up and/or delivered by our partner companies. The service times are between 1 and 7 days depending on the destination.

INTERNATIONAL

These jobs may be picked up and/or delivered by our partner companies. The service times will depend on the destination country.

PRICES

Prices are subject to change until invoiced, due to possible excess loading/unloading/waiting times, pickup/delivery requirements, changes in job details or even wrong job data entry, just to name a few.

Should the price still be Zero, re-check all entered information (a minimum height requirement may prevent the price calculation) or contact our office.

The Quote button will generate a quote only, which can later be activated into a live booking.

The Book Job button will create an active booking and will take you to the Booking Confirmation Page, where your Job Number and Tracking Number will be displayed.

Track & Trace

Record the Tracking Number which will be displayed on the Booking Confirmation Page, after a job has been successfully booked.

Anybody, including non-account holders can Track & Trace a job via the TRACK button on the Home Page, or via the website URL track.sunexpress.com.au., if they know the Tracking Number

The Job Number is used for subsequent Queries and Enquiries.

Search Jobs

You can search for jobs by navigating to the Jobs page where you will be able to find the Search Jobs control.

The following searches are available from a drop-down list:

Search by Job Number, Customer Reference or Date Range.

Choosing one of these options will modify the search input boxes automatically depending on the selection.

Input the job number, customer reference or data range that you would like to search by and click the Search button. The web site will then display the search results page displaying all jobs that relate to your entered search criteria.

Search Invoices

The invoice search can be found by navigating to the Invoices and Payments page where you will be able to find theInvoice Search control. There are a few options to consider when searching invoices, they are; search by Outstanding invoices or All invoices.

To further narrow your search, specify the date range you wish to search by entering two dates into the date fields then press Search. On the other hand, to keep the search as general as possible, just click Search, this will return all invoices.
